As a younger man, Goody began detailing cars for people out of appreciation for them and wanting to do something nice for them.

His job with the city’s police department gave him the opportunity to hone, train and perfect those skills as detailing their fleet became part of his job description. 

Officers would ask him to detail their personal vehicles on the weekend or in his off hours and a side business naturally grew into a full time, grass roots business.
